Radio To Go Services

Music Scheduling in multiple systems - not just RCS Selector and Master Control
Radio programmers and schedulers: I can help you dig down into your market, and your library, to work out exactly what sort of a music schedule you need to put together for the kind of station you want to be. No market is the same; no station is the same. If you want to stand out in an increasing uniform radio landscape, dominated by centralised schedules, then I can most definitely help you take a step up.

For Selector/Linker (and other system) users: get your training needs met by the man who wrote the help and made the videos for the application! You’ll benefit from a 20+ year association with the worlds’ foremost Broadcast Software house. As an early adopter, and later as a power user, I helped develop and test a series of enhancements in the now legendary Selector version 12. I sat on the advisory board for Selector 15, and for the newest RCS Music scheduler, GSelector. Backing up the training I can offer are the online context-sensitive Helpfiles in Selector XV and GSelector, also authored by myself, and in distribution worldwide. I have trained stations in every format across Europe, from tiny purpose built databases, up to deep database stations with very detailed information and complex and sophisticated requirements.

Take a look at the Case History tabs, or review the notes and links also found in the Music Scheduling page, and then feel free to contact me with your requirements.

Software Training videos
From a basic walk through to full, detailed, topic by topic demonstrations, this service can be custom-built for your needs. I offer a one-stop solution: from scripting to final delivery, for distribution on CD, DVD or through your own website. Your video can be a sales tool or a tuition aid - it’s up to you.

Software Video demos are a great way to lift the load from your support team, and an even greater way to answer your customers’ needs. And it’s easy to keep the video up to date when your product adds more features.

Videos can be tailored for in-house training to cater for large numbers of end-users. Where the budget does not stretch to full time in house support, this is a flexible and cost-effective solution. Watch a sample clip here, and then contact me with your requirements.

Online Help
We’ve all been there. You’ve got a job to do, and a deadline to meet. But the Help doesn’t help. You waste hours on text searches, following up obscure Index entries, or stumbling through a Table of Contents that goes on forever.

The sad fact is… most online help is written as an afterthought. By the time software has been through QA, been debugged, packaged and taken to market, the last thing a developer wants to worry about is what he or she built last year - they’re already on to fresh projects. Even if developers can be persuaded to explain their work, chances are they won’t, or can’t, look at it from a client’s pespective. I can, and do, deliver help that answers the questions users need to know.
