Help Authoring
We’ve all been there. You’ve got a job to do, and a deadline to meet. But the help… doesn’t help. You waste hours on text searches, following up oblique Index entries, or stumbling through a Table of Contents that goes on forever. And when you get to the right page… it’s out of date.
The sad fact is, most online help is written as an afterthought. By the time software has been through QA, been debugged, packaged and taken to market, the last thing a developer wants to worry about is what he or she built last year – they’re already on to fresh projects. Even if developers can be persuaded to explain their work, chances are they won’t, or can’t, look at it from a client’s perspective.
I can deliver help that answers the questions users need to know. I will work with your marketing team, your clients, your support staff and your developers to get the best result. All this comes in a variety of options: webhelp, online help, pdf packages, and videos.
